My uncle is a diabetic patient and is suffering from some serious eye problem. From past two months tears were coming from his eyes. His vision is also decreased suddenly.
He consulted eye specialist who told him that he might be suffering from "retinal detachment".
So, I just want to know whether this disease is curable or not?
Is surgery is the last option or we have other options also?
please tell us the best way to get rid of this problem. He is really worried about the same.

Thanks in advance.
